Ever since I was young I have always loved to play football and watch the Oakland Raiders play. I have always been a huge fan of the Raiders since I was going to games with my dad in the late 1990’s and the early 2000’s when they returned to Oakland from Los Angeles. I remember how they were so good when we used to go to games but now they can be very hard to watch but I remember just loving going to games but know it is a struggle to watch them play sometimes but they were so good. I remember when Rich Gannon would throw touchdowns to Tim Brown and Jerry Rice all day and they just never seemed to lose except when it mattered: the playoffs.
I remember when the Ravens came to Oakland and just killed the Raiders in the game that would send the winner to the Super Bowl. The next year in 2001 when they had to travel to a snowy New England to take on the Patriots, they did everything thing right to win the game but the referees just took it right out of their hands. Then of course the magical year of 2002 when they actually made it to the Super Bowl. They just tore up the rest of the NFL on their to the Super Bowl, but when they met their former coach in the big game it was no match it was one of the worst games I have ever seen they just got killed and it was no match at at all, it was very upsetting.
